Like a traditional cocoa farm, the hotel comprises a cluster of lodges with pitched wooden roofs and stone walls.

Phil Buckley oversaw the extensive redesign of the farm, which forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Handpicked stonemasons, carpenters, and painters worked to create the hotel’s 14 calming cottages. Each features pitched wooden roofs, rainforest showers, and slatted shutters that ensure a natural flow of air and allow tropical sunlight to dance across chic stone walls.

Crisp, airy interiors prevail in Rabot Hotel’s atmospheric cottages.

King-size four-poster beds clad in deluxe linens and swathed in delicate netting evoke the exoticism and romance of the Caribbean cocoa industry. The larger Luxe lodges offer secluded verandahs with direct views of Soufrière Bay’s twin volcanoes and comfortable wooden rocking chairs from which to while away the hours reading, chatting, or taking in the views.
