Rabot Hotel From Hotel Chocolat Architecture

Architecture Phil Buckley

Like a traditional cocoa farm, the hotel comprises a cluster of lodges with pitched wooden roofs and stone walls.

Phil Buckley oversaw the extensive redesign of the farm, which forms part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Handpicked stonemasons, carpenters, and painters worked to create the hotel’s 25 calming cottages. Each features pitched wooden roofs, rainforest showers, and slatted shutters that ensure a natural flow of air and allow tropical sunlight to dance across chic stone walls.

Interior design Terry Moore Design, Phil Buckley

Crisp, airy interiors prevail in Rabot Hotel’s atmospheric cottages.

King-size four-poster beds clad in deluxe linens and swathed in delicate netting evoke the exoticism and romance of the Caribbean. The Luxe lodges offer secluded verandahs with direct views of Saint Lucia’s iconic Petit Piton mountain and comfortable sun loungers from which to while away the hours reading, chatting, or taking in the views.

Wellbeing Cocoa slow

The Beauté de Cacao Spa harnesses cocoa’s antioxidant power in a heady combination of massages and body wraps.

Treatments include cacao massages, cacao body exfoliation and moisturizing, a cacao detox body wrap, and a cacao facial—all taking advantage of the bean’s vital minerals.
