Architecture Franz Petek
Because of the original architect’s attention to flow and form, every room has a unique layout. Thick walls and beautiful vaulted ceilings are a testament to an attentive manner of building that is now lost in many contemporary structures. In renovating the hotel, Villa Arnica’s visionaries accentuated the building’s solid feel, paying careful attention to methods and materials from the past.
Interior design Christina Biasi-von Berg
Though the structure is nearly 100 years old, guests today step into a property rich in contemporary luxury. Here, one finds Zucchetti bathroom fittings, oak floors, terrazzo tiles, and sumptuous velvets that reflect the villa’s history and original color scheme. Local craftsmen have also been used to create pieces that match some of the villa’s original furnishings.
