Design Hotels and Universal Design Studio invite you to an exclusive aperitivo to preview Space Between.

Join us during Milan Design Week at STRAF hotel on 7 April from 5pm–8pm for an exclusive first look at Space Between.

For Milan Design Week 2025, Design Hotels and Universal join forces to create Space Between: an interactive installation at STRAF hotel that uses an evolving modular system to activate the lobby in unexpected ways.

Space Between explores how hotels and other third spaces can use design to build community and catalyze culture—opening dialogues, sparking unexpected exchanges, and nurturing movements that shape the culture from the fringe.

The installation will be open from 12pm–8pm on 8 and 9 April. We invite you to gather, start a conversation, take a meeting, take a break, learn, or use the space in ways we haven’t yet envisioned.

Please note that to visit the exhibition you need to consent to have your image and movements recorded while at the hotel as part of a live social study.
