    Witt Istanbul Hotel

Located on Istanbul's European side in a chic bohemian neighborhood of eclectic antique shops, cafes, and designer boutiques, the Witt Istanbul Hotel occupies an unassuming corner building on a residential street. Owner and Istanbul native Tuncel Toprak chose the Witt's location in Cihangir for its connection to a charmingly authentic local community, which afford guests an intimate glimpse of everyday life in the thriving metropolis, without sacrificing style or comfort. Autoban, the award-winning Istanbul-based architecture and design firm, outfitted the hotel with an array of distinctly modern furnishings. Istanbul's rich history is reflected in the designers' use of materials, such as the Marmara marble of classic Ottoman architecture.

    Rooms & Suites

The interior's monochromatic mix of natural, earthy tones and black and white accentuates each room's sculptural elements and spacious design. Modern accents like winged leather headboards, plywood Magnolia lights, and polished black tiles are incorporated into each of the sultry yet subdued interiors, without disrupting the soothingly minimal color scheme. Guestroom balconies, meanwhile, offer captivating views over Istanbul's picturesque skyline of handsome mosques, ramshackle rooftops, and the topaz waters of the Bosporus. Each suite is equipped with a kitchenette, bar, lounge area, and private balcony. The glass-walled penthouse boasts a spectacular panorama and a wraparound terrace. With its focus on personal attention, tailored service, and elegantly eclectic décor, the Witt Istanbul Hotel is a welcoming retreat in the heart of the city.

    Autoban

The interior at the Witt is uniquely contemporary, with eclectic retro furnishings handpicked from Autoban’s own collection, such as sleek rocking chairs and boxy leather couches. An undulating floral outline is the Witt's signature design and a recurring theme throughout the hotel.

The eighteen 60 sq meter rooms and the one 100 sq meter penthouse have each been outfitted as fully-equipped lofts. The bathrooms exude luxury with Molton Brown toiletries, Ross Lovegrove fixtures, and shapely Corian sinks. Wooden and steel-paneled wardrobes embellished with laser-cut, decorative patterns add a touch of contemporary ornament to the suites’ understated aesthetic.
