Architecture Schwieger Architects
Newly built, the hotel’s hand-fired brick and gray plaster echo the strong sense of history and materials used by its legendary neighbor PS Speicher. FREIgeist Einbeck’s architecture was also inspired by the nearby Kornhaus building, which dates to 1898, creating a bridge between contemporary design and historical context.
Interior design Georg Rosentreter, Frank Kassner
A natural-meets-industrial palette of textures and earth tones creates a warm, authentic, and timeless atmosphere. Beds made from old wooden transport crates, floor-to-ceiling windows, and oak are complemented by vintage objects, such as classic Vespas displayed on the walls and an iconic Isetta repurposed as a coffee-break car. A table crafted from an old aircraft engine adds another striking element, while lamps from motorcycles bathe spaces in warm light, underlining the spirit of mobility, engineering, and creative reuse that defines the interior concept.
Genusswerkstatt Grill-focused, seasonal cuisine
Just a short walk from the hotel, Genusswerkstatt focuses on grill-based concepts, regional products, and creative interpretations, including vegetarian and vegan options. Indulge in dry-aged steaks, fresh fish and vegetables, fiery hot mustard seeds, and more. A firepit on the terrace is a true highlight. In winter, it transforms into a cozy oasis, perfect for roasted marshmallows and mulled wine.

Fitness & sauna Relax body and mind
Stay active in the hotel’s fully equipped gym with high-quality Precor cardio machines, free weights, a punching bag, yoga mats, exercise balls, and strength machines perfect for a full-body workout with panoramic views over Einbeck. Afterward, unwind in a Finnish sauna, where the warmth and the view over the Leinetal create the perfect evening retreat. For deeper relaxation, a stylish Tuning Room offers soothing wellness massages that help you recharge body and mind.
