The New Face of Balearic Beauty

The drive up to Cala Sant Vicenç in the northern part of Mallorca has all the trappings for Hollywood glam—winding your way through a dreamy gold-drenched landscape edged by the Sierra de Tramuntana range (a World Heritage Site) and inviting coves lapped by the turquoise Balearic Sea. Widely regarded as one of the most talented chefs on the island, Michelin star chef Santi Taura—who also helms the restaurant at El Llorenç—will offer up two unique gastronomic experiences at El Vicenç. The rooftop Dins El Vicenç restaurant, which offers 180-degree views, will delve into the culinary memory and recipes of Mallorca, focusing on seasonal products at their peak. The Mediterranean bistro on the ground floor will offer the freshest of ingredients, served tapas-style, grilled, and more.

The surrounding natural beauty is also at the heart of the experience at Ç Wellness Studio where a skylight floods the interiors with daylight while an 18-meter-heated pool connects the outside and inside. What’s more, the highly effective treatments will use products by Spanish brand Natura Bissé, which was recently named Best Spa Brand at the prestigious World Spa Awards three years in a row.

While you might want to stay at the hotel with its many temptations, including a mixology bar, 24-seat cinema, cycling station, and rooftop pool, Cala Sant Vicenç is undoubtedly the central draw with a wide range of activities including hiking in the mountains, diving, snorkeling, sailing, or even riding a hot air balloon. Now this is Balearic bliss at its best.
