These bright and spacious rooms with 11 feet high ceilings look onto cozy Sendlinger Lane, with a lounge area for both dining and working. It's the perfect perch from which to plan your next adventure or simply relax with a few friends after a day in the city. Add to that our signature, custom furniture and you have enough of a reason to order take-out or room service and stay put for a night. The rooms, with beautiful high ceilings, contain custom furniture exclusively designed for the hotel by Signe Bindslev Henriksen & Peter Bundgaard Rützou, oak-plank floors, and soft natural bamboo area rugs.

While our goal at The Sanctuary Hotel is to provide the essentials of hospitality, our suites deliver more, much more. Our Transcendence Suite consists of two interconnecting spaces on the corner of the hotel, making up 640 square feet of living area. These accommodations include a separate bedroom with king bed, master bathroom, living room, working area and guest bathroom.

The Sanctuary Hotel’s guest accommodations feature light oak floors, custom-crafted furniture, and 9 feet high ceilings, as well as natural bamboo area rugs, double-weave wool bed throws, and ceramic wall sculptures by Taiwanese artist Katie Yang. Bathrooms are stocked with organic bath products and finished in marble and brass.

The Drake Double rooms are 200 – 220 sq. ft. and feature a fully stocked bar + snack cubby with mini-fridge, a customized working/dining nook, curated art from local Toronto artists and a bathroom you’ll assuredly want to take home. Signature Drake design details in every room include custom millwork and tufted velvet headboards, feature wallpapers and terrazzo shower tiles. With two Queen beds and accommodating up to four to sleepover, we don’t blame you for having a pillow fight.
