Conran & Prescott have crafted an homage to the great designers who have influenced Sir Terence in his storied career.

The hotel is housed in a former printing factory and warehouse that exemplifies the industrial architecture of the Victorian era, and upon restoration, Conran & Partners extended the building vertically with two stories of glass, steel, and copper. The result is a hybrid of the old and new: picturesque red brick, white awnings, and tall vertically sliding windows.

Eclecticism reigns inside, with design pieces bearing the names of those who have influenced Sir Conran the most.

The Josef Hoffmann Room rejoices in simple shapes, minimal decoration, and geometric patterns; the Mies Van der Rohe room features a picture of his Seagram’s building while his furnishings, like the Barcelona chair and ottoman, take pride of place.
