Architecture Homegrown spirit

A century-old warehouse is transformed into a contemporary retreat where industrial heritage, local artwork, and Memphis’ creative spirit shape every space.

Originally built in 1913, the building’s industrial roots remain part of ARRIVE Memphis’ identity. Once home to an art gallery and graduate school, the structure has been reimagined with a focus on openness, authenticity, and creative expression. Natural light, exposed-inspired details, and generous communal spaces honor the building’s past while creating a welcoming modern environment. Artwork by Memphis-born artist Michelle Fair adds a distinctly local layer throughout the property, connecting the hotel to the city’s creative legacy.

The design blends industrial influences, contemporary comfort, and local artistry to create a hotel that feels collected, creative, and connected to Memphis.

ARRIVE Memphis balances the raw character of its warehouse origins with a warm, residential sensibility. Guestrooms feature industrial-inspired details softened by plush textiles, natural light, and carefully selected furnishings. Artwork by Michelle Fair brings a distinctly Memphis perspective, while the lobby becomes the social heart of the hotel with antique furniture, communal seating, and the lively presence of Hustle & Dough. The result is an eclectic yet refined atmosphere that feels rooted in place rather than simply designed.

Located at the heart of ARRIVE Memphis, Hustle & Dough transforms the lobby into a welcoming neighborhood gathering place from morning through afternoon. The all-day bakery and café serves naturally leavened breads, pastries, Mammoth Coffee espresso drinks, and a menu of comforting favorites including toasts, grits bowls, sandwiches, and salads. Filled with communal tables and distinctive antique furnishings, the space invites guests and locals alike to start the day slowly or settle in throughout the afternoon.
