From its former seat of influence in Warsaw, the neoclassical socialist H15 has emerged as piece of living history in the city's old town.

H15 Boutique Hotel Interior in Warsaw

Interior design Mariola Tomczak

Mariola Tomczak uses calm colors, natural oak floors, and glass walls to brilliantly open up interior spaces.

Original works by Polish photographer and fine artist Rita Zimmerman give each suite its own individual feel, while the building’s historical character is emphasized through the preservation of its high ceilings.

Architecture Perfecting the past

Given this 19th-century building’s prominence as a former seat of influence in Warsaw...

it’s fitting that the new H15 Boutique Hotel plays an active role in the life of the Polish capital. With an eye toward honoring the structure’s past, the architect preserves the neoclassical socialist façade while also cleverly drawing one’s attention to the hotel’s black-and-white checkered patio, which not only serves as a lobby but as a venue for important cultural events.
