Reinterpreting modernism through a contemporary Japanese lens that is informed by Scandinavian simplicity, the hotel’s architecture blurs the boundary between indoors and outdoors. Floor-to-ceiling windows and materials that echo the park’s greenery create a sense of openness and calm, allowing guests to feel connected to the surrounding environment while remaining immersed in an urban setting. Features such as an exposed-concrete walls created with traditional Japanese techniques and a washed concrete façade give the building a timeless, park-integrated presence.

A restrained color palette of soft neutrals, such as beige, gray, and earth tones, and an emphasis on natural materials, like wood, stone, and textured fabrics, create a calm and tactile environment. Floor-to-ceiling windows, open layouts, and private balconies strengthen the connection to Yoyogi Park, while custom-made furniture and carefully integrated lighting enhance functionality, comfort, and a sense of quiet refinement.
