Natural woods mix with bright colors, forming a clean-lined sanctuary just steps from the flurry of downtown Athens.

The nine-story building, with a pool and bar sporting a view of the Acropolis on the top floor, welcomes its guests into an impressive lobby extending over two floors. The 148 guestrooms, six of them with private Zen gardens, are temples to clean lines with sleek, modernist spaces broken up by bright slashes of orange, pink, and green against mauve and beige.

Fresh offers an electrifying medley of sleek formality and ancient splendor, where bold design fuses with tradition.

Featuring cool colors and contemporary references, each room is decorated with minimal geometric motifs reminiscent of rounded beach pebbles, the stone-paved alleys of Plaka, and the regular shapes of city blocks as seen from above. These murals are reflected in large irregular mirrors and are illuminated by the soft light of wicker Gervasoni floor lamps and pieces by Philippe Starck, B&B Italia, and more.
