The interiors feature rich, chocolate-toned furnishings, carpets patterned like cakes, and “licorice allsorts” stools.

Taking its cue from the spiky, edgy character of the former Denton Corker Marshall-designed hotel that once occupied this spot, Adelphi adds a layer of whimsy and confection-themed inspiration to the industrial elements it has inherited.

Originally a warehouse built in 1938, this history-rich standout is reborn as a contemporary land of enchantment.

Adelphi’s most recent facelift, in 2014, retains the building’s signature warehouse style with metal windows and a concrete façade.
