Some three kilometers from this village, the old town of Sóller is easily reached via a vintage tram that meanders from the harbor through orange groves. Sóller is also a great base for hiking in the Serra de Tramuntana, which is on UNESCO’s list of cultural landscapes—one such walk is down the Torrent de Pareis, Mallorca’s “Grand Canyon”.
