Architecture Silvio D’Ascia Architecture
The original facade was preserved but the interior has been fully reimagined and reconstructed. The result is a five-story building that perfectly blends historical charm with contemporary design. Inspiration for the look and feel of the structure came from the Italian 1970s design movement, with references to Gio Ponti, Riviera hotels, and retro-modern aesthetics. The goal was to reinterpret these codes through a Parisian lens, resulting in a space that feels both nostalgic and fresh.
Interior design Hauvette et Madani
The hotel plays with a nostalgic aesthetic—a hint of motel Americana meets Parisian escapism—blending functionality with a poetic take on travel in a way that is both playful and refined. Custom-lacquered headboards, striped Riviera-style curtains, terrazzo bathrooms, and vintage-style lighting mix seamlessly with sculptural forms, glossy wood, and bold geometric lines. A world of small, personal touches varies from room to room, such as an autograph from a famous French actress, snapshots taken by American tourists with disposable cameras, and Scrabble pieces. Artwork is curated by La Galerie Française, mixing 19th- and 20th-century prints, photography, and objets de curiosité.
