Drawing inspiration from the layout of Lijiang’s ancient Naxi villages, the hotel appears as if it grew naturally from the mountain.

Set along the natural contours of the mountain, the hotel echoes the traditional layout of an ancient Naxi village, with every room offering unobstructed 180‑degree views of Yulong Snow Mountain. The extensive use of local rust stone, bluestone, and pine follows traditional Naxi building techniques, maximizing the expression of local character. Against the pure blue‑and‑white backdrop of Yulong Snow Mountain, the architecture prioritizes a sense of nature and locality to create a secluded retreat the elevates culture, spiritual cultivation, exploration, and wild luxury.

Fusing Nordic modernist minimalist aesthetics with local vernacular regionalism, the hotel strikes a brilliant balance between Naxi culture and stunning mountain scenery.

The design doesn’t compete with the beauty of the surrounding snowcapped mountains but rather complements it with locality and a sense of nature. The look and feel draws deep inspiration from the local Naxi culture, with details such as Naxi brocade, Dongba decorative elements, and Naxi braided ropes visible throughout. The combination of walnut, aged pine, and dark stone set against the pure blue‑and‑white backdrop of Yulong Snow Mountain create a simple and tranquil atmosphere—the perfect balance between introspection and luxurious comfort.
