Introducing the 2018 Influencers List

You heard it here first. With the release of the much-anticipated 2018 Design Hotels™ Book, now officially available for pre-order, we’re proud to announce our newest Influencers List, honoring five visionary architects and designers who are changing the face of contemporary hospitality.

This year’s list includes visionary designers such as Nicolas Schuybroek, the Belgian minimalist master behind Chicago’s The Robey, and Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay, the Paris-based duo known as Festen whose projects include Le Pigalle in Paris and Hôtel Les Roches Rouges on the Provence coast. As the founder and creative director of the Singapore-based Asylum Studio, Chris Lee, another 2018 Influencer, has applied his unique multidisciplinary approach to the Chocolate Research Facility, DIY House, and The Warehouse Hotel in his native Singapore, among other standout projects throughout Asia. Flip through the gallery above to see who else made the 2018 Influencers List, and watch this space for in-depth interviews with all five awardees.
