Set in the fairytale landscape of Pays d’Enhaut, 1,007 meters above sea level, Hôtel de Rougemont & Spa is surrounded by majestic pine trees and boasts breathtaking views of the Gstaad Dolomites. The 19 bedrooms and 14 suites use clean lines and handpicked natural materials in different ways, giving each room its own character. The bathrooms are uncharacteristically encased in glass, showcasing both contemporary and traditional design. The hotel’s Alpine brasserie, Le Roc restaurant serves dishes that are innovative as well as traditional and in tune with nature, meaning fresh seasonal ingredients. A cozy lounge with a fireplace, a wine bar with the best Swiss varietals, and a gold-onyx-and-wood-accented bar provide plenty of spaces to relax and mingle. The luxurious spa, illuminated by numerous candles and black mosaic (in the pool area), offers treatments using Pure Altitude products made from organic alpine plants. A private cinema with plush burgundy seating and anthracite walls bring to mind cinema of yore.
