Surrounded by Ibiza’s renowned and exciting nightlife, with Talamanca beach and the city center only a stroll away, the new 38-room Sir Joan Hotel brings to mind an exclusive members-only retreat thanks to a thoughtful spatial design that flows seamlessly from interior to exterior—from the ground-floor Izakaya Asian Kitchen & Bar and The Butcher burger restaurant to the pool overlooking the marina. Drawing on the distinct characteristics of Ibiza’s split personality as an exclusive luxury destination and party island, Sir Joan Hotel is rooted in bygone days when free-spirited communities on this beautiful Mediterranean island would meet to create music and art. A sensual and highly fashionable retreat for the partier and reclusive bohemian alike, this private paradise overlooking the old town and the marina celebrates a nostalgic era of the island while catering to the needs of the modern traveler. As a subtle homage to yacht living, interior design elements, such as sea-weathered metals, maritime ropes, yacht flooring, and monochromatic gray hues, contrast the Balearic sun. With a dramatic dialogue between the contemporary and the traditional, Sir Joan Hotel is an oasis of indulgence for wild-at-heart nonconformists who seek the island’s finest offerings in the heart of the island’s nightlife scene.
Please note that Izakaya Asian Kitchen & Bar will be closed from Nov. 1, 2017 to Mar. 22, 2018.

That Liran Wizman's first property for the iconic Sir Hotels collection, Sir Albert, was once a diamond factory makes perfect sense to him as he specializes in recognizing unpolished gems and turning them around through innovative design and management. “As with all Sir Hotels, it is crucial that our properties reflect our ethos of bringing locally inspired guest experiences to dynamic locations,” he explains. “Sir Joan Hotel has the feel of a luxury private villa that’s been influenced by the island’s free-spirited communities, its music, and its art. The combination of revival with contemporary luxury has created the ideal urban oasis in the heart of this world-famous island.”
