Restoring paintings and frescos from the 19th century is a further example of the care and attention given to the revitalization of past beauty at the Hospes Palacio del Bailío. The clean pure lines, the sense of history and luxury all reflect the peace and quiet you will enjoy at this Andalusian getaway.

Architecture

THE HEART OF CORDOBA

The estate is composed of multiple buildings and patios. The main patio is the most spectacular as the traditional paving has been replaced with a glass floor, revealing a dramatic perspective on the Roman ruins buried four-and-a-half meters below.

Interior Design

PAST, PRESENT, PERFECT

The hotel’s extravagantly painted ceiling is not only a centerpiece of conversation, it’s a testament to the level of detail the designers went to in order to recreate the past while contrasting it with fresh and contemporary designs of today.

Dark walnut wood, rich stone arches, and floor-to-ceilings windows are just some of the details the Hospes folks perfected while keeping the demands of both historians and guests firmly in mind.
