Architecture Miguel Saraiva
The pool bar blends into the environment with great views and a wooden deck that invites one to enjoy lazy days with chilled cocktails and light meals. The slate covered, low-rise building is deliberately inconspicuous against the beautiful Algarve landscape. Award-winning Portuguese architect Miguel Saraiva was responsible for the extensive but sensitive refurbishment of the building.
Interior design Pureza Magalhães
Interior designer Pureza Magalhães, who hails from Portugal, came up with the concept of a “market lobby” to unite several enticing elements. Hence the space features a reception, bar, grocery store, workplace, restaurant, areas for children, and even workspaces. The grocery store serves the best products from the region—salt from nearby salt mines and local wines, to name a few.
