      About Your Stay

Celebrated designer Ron Arad injected the duoMo hotel with his own brand of eccentric, futuristic style. Immediately set apart by its shining, metallic facade, duoMo makes no attempt to blend in with its more traditional surroundings: a narrow street in one of Italy's long-standing seaside resorts. Oversize accents, dramatic angles, daring colors, and adventurous shapes create an unconventional atmosphere for the hotel's stylish clientele. Individual bathroom pods in each room give the feeling of otherworldly comfort, heightened by Arad's use of light and shadow to evoke the sensation of infinite spaces. At the much-hyped noMi Club, guests can exchange glances via the bar's myriad distorted reflective surfaces, and world-renowned DJs draw crowds to the hotel's regular Sunday parties. The bar's walls literally open on balmy nights, with the party spilling out onto the streets of the lively historical center, welcoming a new generation of jet-setters.

      Ron Arad

Celebrated architect Ron Arad’s unique and exciting transformation of the duoMo hotel embraces the past while simultaneously creating space for a thorough look into the future. This need for dynamism, design and creativity resulted in a unique identity in design, where subtle contrasts, light, shadow and transparencies were infused into the existing building. The existing structure has been wrapped in a skin of bronze, which meanders its way inside the building forming the back wall of the bar and ends in the form of a bench seat. The almost strange, shiny and bright metallic coating articulates the design language used throughout the project immediately upon visual confrontation with its exterior.

      Interior Design
      Organic Futurism

The futuristic tenor of Arad’s architecture continues in the 34 guestrooms and nine relaxation pods. Large, circular mirrors in lipstick red hang over the beds, exuding a nautical-meets-space-pod aesthetic. Organic forms like a steel loop-the-loop shelving unit and a sleek glass coffee table with biomorphic impressions complete the look.
