      ARCHITECTURE

      The splendor of simplicity

The crisp splendor of the whitewashed building is exactly what one would expect and hope to find on this Cycladic isle. Thanks to former Creative Director of Design Hotels™ Michael Schickinger, and interior designer and stylist Annabell Kutucu, what you see and feel at San Giorgio are equal measures of history, heritage, style and simplicity.

From the charming off-kilter design chairs that show off their raw wood parts, to the traditional Greek woven-top stools and weighty cotton matelassé quilts, each piece is organic in form and source, together creating a harmonious whole.

      INTERIOR DESIGN

      Bringing air and lightness inside

With a deliberate spotlight on origin and craftsmanship throughout the hotel, only a few carefully chosen accessories give the right warmth to an otherwise open space.

      Rooms & Suites

All the rooms and suites at San Giorgio Mykonos feature a similar design aesthetic and the same high quality standard of materials across different categories. The usual amenities of air-conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, etc., are found throughout. The starting room category, Basico, is located at the garden or souterrain level. The next step up is the Mare featuring double rooms with verandas or balconies facing the azure waters and shimmering beach. Spacious modern bathrooms boast a range of organic bath products that seduce after a long day of sun and sea. The Veranda and Grande suites offer some of the most stunning views of the bay from their luxurious verandas, ranging from 10 to 25 square meters.

      Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel

Fifteen years ago, two small-town Germans met on the shores of Ibiza. After years of traveling and sharing ideas, Thomas Heyne and Mario Hertel took over Paradise Club in 2004, ultimately transforming it into one of the most popular nightclubs in the world. By the end of the decade, San Giorgio was born, tailored to pleasure-seekers enraptured with the euphoric energy of Grecian paradise.
