Rooms 10 / Architecture Rémi Tessier / Interior Design Rémi Tessier / The Original Michel Reybier, Raouf Finan

Located directly across from the Eiffel Tower, La Réserve Paris stays true to its name through interior architect Remi Tessier's refined take on discreet opulence. La Réserve prides itself on its soft lighting and subdued monochromatic aesthetic, inviting guests to relish the noble grace of rosewood, ebony, sycamore, stone, and slate. Tessier, who has collected accolades for luxury yacht designs, showcases the linkage between functional design and clean elegance. Guests can imagine soaring away on sublimely modernist furnishings by Andrée Putman, Maxalto, Flos, and Vitra. And with the exception of the sumptuous four-poster beds and the high double windows, everything from the plush Flexform chairs to the twin marble sinks in the bathrooms is symmetrically aligned. Combining the latest technological advances with stunning contemporary decor, La Réserve Paris is an exceptional, prestigious base designed for total comfort and privacy, down to the smallest detail.

    Private Paradise

True to its name, La Réserve's 10 short- and long-term apartments shy away from outright opulence, preferring refined affluence to the cutting edge. The hotel’s most striking elements are smart lines and feng shui. Here, the emphasis is on privacy, and many of the multilevel apartments boast private office, dining, and landscaped garden areas. Interior architect Rémi Tessier, who has collected accolades for his work designing luxury yachts, seems to have an iron grip on functional design, using space elegantly and efficiently in suites that could, because of their exceptional equilibrium, be compared to the extravagant watercrafts sailing the Mediterranean.

    Rémi Tessier

Much of La Réserve’s sleek furniture utilizes natural color palettes with contrasting shades of black and ecru. Celebrated designer Rémi Tessier offers travelers a sophisticated experience in the City of Lights with warm-toned, airy interiors that exude subtle luxury and feature modernist design and Varenna kitchens equipped with Gaggenau appliances.

    Raouf Finan & Michel Reybier

Behind La Réserve stand the Lebanese-born, managing director Raouf Finan and the visionary owner Michel Reybier. Located in Geneva, Paris, and Ramatuelle, each property of La Réserve has its own distinct style. Already a magnate in the chocolate, delicatessen, and supermarket industries, Reybier was on vacation in Bali when he met Finan, who at the time was a resourceful general manager of an exclusive resort. After working at New York’s illustrious Drake Hotel and studying at Switzerland’s top-ranked Glion Institute, Finan had been developing and running luxury hotels in Asia for almost a decade. The two felt an instant affinity. With La Réserve, the pair has struck a balance between, as they see it, someplace inviting but otherworldly, too.
