      About Your Stay

Located a few steps from Paris’ celebrated Arc de Triomph, within the city’s golden triangle, the once traditional Hotel Vernet has been transformed by Paris-based architect François Champsaur into a sleek new 50-room boutique hotel. Housed in a post Haussmann building that dates from 1913, the exterior is the embodiment of Parisian charm, which complements the fresh modernity that lies within. Among the facilities is an avant-garde restaurant that is housed under an ornate glass dome, designed by legendary civil engineer Gustave Eiffel, while the hotel’s in-house concierge service can provide guidance on the ideal Parisian experience.

      Albert Joseph Sélonier

The clean limestone façade and charming black ironwork balconies of this post-Haussman building, is the work of French architect Albert Joseph Sélonier, who over his career designed close to 300 buildings which can be seen throughout the capital. Set over seven floors, the landmark structure merges seamlessly with the aesthetics of the street, while inside, the elaborate glass ceiling in the restaurant, designed by Gustave Eiffel, holds centre stage.

      Interior Design
      A New Face

Hotel Vernet has emerged from a complete overhaul, which has seen its once traditional interiors transformed into a contemporary haven. The designer, Marseille-born interior architect, François Champsaur has employed his characteristic attention to detail, by artfully playing with light and volume, complementing the space in warming tones with modern furniture and tactile fabrics.

      Anne Jousse

Savvy businesswoman Anne Jousse is president of Jousse Bessé Signature, a family-run hotel brand that offers luxury with a human face. Jousse worked as an insurance broker for twenty years in the family business before turning towards hospitality. As travelers, the Bessé family wanted to create ideal spaces for business and leisure. In 2005, they opened the Bel Ami in Saint-Germain-des-Prés on Paris's Left Bank, embracing ancient history and lively culture in the former stomping ground of the Parisian intelligentsia. In 2014, they are set to create magic all over again with the transformation of the iconic Hotel Vernet.
