Through the use of natural wood paneling, under-floor heating, fireplaces, and pure white marble in Japanese-style bathrooms, acclaimed architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte has created a warm atmosphere in Paris’s eclectic 9th arrondissement. The 33 rooms and suites here each feature a mix of bright and dark colors, while indirect lighting and natural materials abound, including parquet flooring, raw marble, Oregon myrtlewood, and more. And for maximum sleeping comfort you can even order your pillow from a menu of pillow types.

    Architecture

    Jean-Michel Wilmotte

Guests will marvel at the restored facade of the 19th-century building, which is stark white and flawless. The interiors showcase design by acclaimed architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, who focused on environmental sustainability and local integration in his work on Hotel de Nell. The facade of the 19th century building was restored to its immaculate former glory, with a white palette that carries on from the exterior through to the rooms and common spaces. The hotel enjoys a perfect location in a calm street in close proximity to the Saint-Eugène church, Trevise theatre, the waxwork museum Musée Grévin and the biggest French auction centre Drouot.

The 33 rooms and suites are stark, yet warm, with large floor rugs, a mix of light and dark wood, the integration of natural light, and Japanese-style inspired bathrooms in pure white marble.
