Le Collateral Room A R 01

Room A

As soon as you close the double doors, the Zen atmosphere, the raw textures and the soft light take your everyday stresses away.

- 40sqm (430sqft)
- Queen size bed
- Sitting room
- Complimentary WiFi
- Air conditioning
- Large shower
- Toiletries by Rampal Latour Savonnerie
- iPad (TV and playlist)

Room A is an invitation to peace. You don't even have to climb stairs! Situated on the ground floor, it is near the main front door with direct access to Place Patrat. This lovely Arlesian pedestrian square is nuisance-free and remarkably quiet because only private dwellings surround it. Room A is adjoined to a small sitting room furnished with a pretty Florence Knoll vintage sofa and contemporary design elements. The bathroom is fit for a star with a gigantic mirror, flattering lighting and a very big shower. The custom-made dressing unit, which is made of rough-hewn wood beams, evokes the landscape of Camargue. If you like beige in various shades, stone walls, wood, and a certain kind of minimalism, then this room is for you.

Room C is the largest suite at the Collateral. The spacious sitting room features a vintage Chesterfield sofa, a modern Marcel Wanders table, and drawings by Sarah Dorp and a Formica painting. You can go either soft or bright according to your mood since all the lights are equipped with dimmers. Well, that's at dusk only, because Room C looks onto the quiet Place Patrat, which is flooded with light. A marvellous staircase leads upstairs, which has been hidden since the Middle Ages and was uncovered when the building was being renovated. At the top, a large and calm minimalist bedroom is awash in a palette of colors that evoke the salt from the Camargue region and the blue of the sky. The adjoining bathroom in tiles and massive oak has a giant mirror and a Japanese bathtub.

To find this room, you have to cross the Grand Salon and then go up another flight of stairs. It is the only room in this part of Le Collateral. It is almost secret: you enter through the dark and sexy bedroom, which is on the first floor. The brightly lit sitting room is downstairs and looks onto a patio. The bathroom in tiles and solid oak has a giant mirror and a Japanese bathtub. Room S also adjoins the library - a quiet place to work, make phone calls, sip a Cognac or leaf through books about the region.
