Why go to the Alps? For the fresh air, the panoramic views, and the rush of adrenaline that comes with careening down the slopes? Or for the aftermath of those mountain adventures: sitting by a fireplace, drink in hand, preparing to head out for dinner or the sauna? Experience the best of both worlds at Hotel Zhero - Ischgl/Kappl. Incorporating Tyrolean tradition and upscale, innovative architecture, the hotel combines smart contemporary design with the comfort of home. Stay in one of 78 rooms and suites, including nine junior suites and four penthouses with private butler service, and dine at Zhero Open Grill, Kappl's first a la carte restaurant, where executive chef Klaus Brunmayr serves a mix of regional and international cuisine. Architecture

      Manfred Jager

Nestled among the stunning peaks of the Verwall, Samnaun and Silvretta mountain ranges, Hotel Zhero - Ischgl/Kappl offers innovative architecture and design that impresses without upstaging the beauty of its surroundings. Designed by architect Manfred Jäger, the translucent building is constructed of materials such as glass, wood and stone. Its shimmering façade reflects the natural splendor around it while simultaneously making a striking visual impression. The hotel offers no shortage of opportunities for mountain relaxation. “Guests are increasingly demanding,” Jäger explains, “They are not interested in skiing only—they want to have wellness facilities, restaurants, and good rooms. When you’re in the luxury market it’s important that you offer a wide range of products.” Jäger’s design for Hotel Zhero - Ischgl/Kappl includes a full-range of opportunities for sophisticated relaxation, from fire-side drinks and cigars in the bar and lounge area to a 750-square-meter spa, complete with four saunas, an indoor pool, a steam room and professional massage therapies and beauty treatments.
