We kicked off our time together on Wednesday evening with a standing dinner at the majestic Nobis Hotel Palma. Cocktails, cured meats, and croquettes were in abundance, with music by Álvaro Anaya and a lively percussion duo.
At the historic Fàbrica Ramis, we dove head first into big ideas and big feelings with flamenco performers and a stage program hosted by the enchanting emcee Paco Colombàs. We heard from Stijn, Sarah, and the team on the vision and plans for the future of Design Hotels, and were privy to illuminating talks from Sana Frini and Carlos Couturier, Louie Schwartzberg, and Louise French of The Future Laboratory. We also hosted an interactive exhibition of local brands and designers, curated by Chiara Ferrari of 110 Mallorca.
Along Palma’s scenic waterfront, we gathered for champagne and dinner at Bahía Mediterráneo, one of the city’s great institutions. A wild dance floor followed at our very own Club Arena, with DJ Paco Colombàs spinning tunes until early into the morning.
To cap off the final day of Arena, we stepped into the senses with a series of hands-on workshops alongside a farewell lunch, overlooking the sea at the charming Hospes Maricel & Spa.
At this special edition of Originals’ Weekend, we began by enjoying the last of summer: with a sunset boat ride in the bay of Palma, some swimming, and dinner at one of the city’s liveliest dinner venues, The Wine Side—a gastro-bar specializing in locally sourced cuisine.
A gorgeous day beginning with a tour and long lunch amid the olive groves of Aubocassa Estate. Afterwards, we moved to a private villa backdropped by mountains in Alaró, for a sunset sound bath and concert, and a memorable dinner and dance floor.
We rounded out Originals’ Weekend with a relaxed private tour of the vibrant Dusty Deco apartment, an iconic showroom and studio in the heart of Palma dedicated to collecting vintage and contemporary design pieces.
