These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings of hotels via the reservation system of Design Hotels.
Every booking will be forwarded to the corresponding hotel via Design Hotels as carrier of the message. On the other hand, bookings of hotels via Design Hotels are binding. Thus, an accommodation contract comes into effect, via mouse click, when making a booking. You will receive a customer booking reference number confirming your booking. The procurement for the booking is free of charge for you. Bookings are not transferable to any other person and can not be transferred or exchanged for cash or credit.
The accommodation contract comes into effect immediately between you and the hotel of your choice, when making a booking. You pay the confirmed price directly in the hotel. Any claims and obligations out of the accommodation contract only exist between you and the hotel chosen by you.
Changes and cancellations have to be carried out via the Design Hotels online system or via the Design Hotels reservation number (see www.designhotels.com). In case of a change or cancellation carried out directly at the hotel, Design Hotels cannot provide any information concerning possible discrepancies concerning the date of the cancellation or the fact of cancellation as such.
The internationally used hotel classification into stars offers noncommittal information about the hotel's standard, in consideration of self assessment by the hotel. All additional information about the hotel and the descriptions of which are based on the hotel's own assessment.
All Design Hotels prices are current, low day prices, shown in the name of the individual hotel and are valid for all bookings made via the reservation system of Design Hotels.
Bookings take place according to the best and currently lowest Design Hotels day price in each case. This price is submitted directly by the hotel for the arrival date chosen, and is shown in the name of the hotel. Available Design Hotels last-minute, seasonal, weekend or special prices will be considered automatically during the booking. Please be advised Converted rates using the website currency converter are based on an estimation of that day's exchange rate.
For Germany, prices include service charges and VAT. In other countries, regulations and rules differ. Please note, that a visitor's tax might apply in certain locations. In some countries, a local tax and/or a service charge is levied on the travel price or room rate. The amount of this tax changes all the time, and thus, information regarding this tax is always noncommittal.
You can revoke your registration with Design Hotels at any time. Please send an according e-mail to [email protected].
Design Hotels disclaims any liability for the reproduction of this website through a third party website or access to this website obtained through a third party website or any user’s home page, which reproduction misstates or omits any of the information or limitations and conditions on the room rates and products offered through this website.

While Design Hotels has taken every effort to ensure that the information contained within the website is correct at the time of going live, Design Hotels cannot be held responsible for any errors and omissions or any information which may be incomplete, inaccurate or may have become out of date. Whilst Design Hotels tries to ensure all room rates, conditions and times are correct it cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions.

Usually, you can activate our reservation service, without giving away any personal information, i.e. an anonymous usage is possible. Thus, you can inform yourself about offers without having to register.
If you want to be named at Design Hotels as an inquiry and/or booking customer, then Design Hotels needs personal data, such as your name and address, in order to process transactions. When this data entry is necessary, it is indicated explicitly during registration. This obligatory data, the extent of which can be seen from the registration form, is needed and transferred for the arrangement of the contractual relationship. Furthermore, you will receive the Design Hotels newsletter regularly, on the basis of this obligatory data. You can cancel its delivery at any time. Entry of data, indicated as non-obligatory, is not necessarily needed for registration. If you make non-obligatory entries, they will be evaluated in anonymous form for statistical purposes.
If you appear as inquiry and/or booking customer, Design Hotels forwards data, needed for the accommodation contract, which you communicated to Design Hotels during registration, to the individual contract partners. Your own inquiries and/or bookings will be recorded only for the purpose of making this information accessible to you.
Design Hotels does not construct any personalised usage profiles. If you move on the Design Hotels reservation platform, this movement is only recorded in an anonymous form, i.e. no connection can be made to you. Data gathered that way is used by Design Hotels to improve usability and design of internet representation.
Design Hotels does also use so-called "cookies". They will be set during registration and contain a "session-ID", which authenticates the user during his/her active session. Naturally, usage of Design Hotels is possible without cookies as well.
If you choose to stay logged in on our website, we will store your login information in a cookie on your computer so that you do not have to authenticate upon return to our website but will be automatically logged in ("auto log in"). The cookie and thereby the auto log in expires automatically after 60 days.
As registrated user, Design Hotels informs you about what data we recorded about you, at any time free of charge. Please turn to [email protected], if interested.
On request, Design Hotels deletes your data completely and immediately. Please turn to [email protected] in this case as well. Please note, that a deletion of data can only be made when all open transactions have been closed. Design Hotels gladly informs you about a deletion of data on request.
