SANCTUM SOHO HOTEL LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM |
 |
Opening in January 2009
Located in the heart of London's West End, the Sanctum Soho Hotel is a celebration of the neighbourhood in which it stands: like Soho itself, the hotel exudes an edgy glamour, and both its design and ambience have an artsy, bohemian flair.
Accordingly, the 30 individually-designed rooms – ranging from crash pad to suite all the way up to a penthouse apartment – are anything but formulaic. Designer Lesley Pierce conceived four distinct mood schemes to meet the diverse aesthetic preferences of hotel guests at London's Sanctum Soho: sleek Silver Bullet, warm Espresso Deco, ornate Naked Baroque and rock-'n'-roll Purple Haze.
Each one-of-a-kind room has a personal feel, with real, tasselled keys replacing the standard electronic variety. Each also comes with Bang & Olufsen entertainment system, iPod connection capability, Internet access, REN Skincare bathroom amenities, William Yeoward 500 thread-count sheets and Frette towels, bathrobes and slippers. Services include 24-hour room service, in-room beauty treatments and same-day laundry, shoe shine and pressing.
A fully-equipped gym and roof-top spa provide for guests' wellness needs, while a restaurant serving quintessentially British cuisine and a 24-hour members- and guests-only bar supply the ultimate in quality food and exciting cocktails. For business or entertainment, the Sanctum Soho Hotel features a private cinema that can be converted into an events space upon request.
And the Sanctum Soho’s prime Warwick Street address means that guests are just minutes away from Oxford Street and Bond Street shopping, as well as from London's theatre district and Piccadilly Circus. |
