The city of Antalya is dramatically located on top of a steep cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.
MORE
It is the major hub of what is known as the “Turkish Riviera” and home to a number of internationally renowned landmarks, among them Hadrian’s Gate, dating back to 200 BC, and the Yivili Minare mosque, which has an impressive minaret and houses the city’s Ethnographic museum. The Düden waterfalls, located inside a park, are also inside the city limits. The Antalya Intercity Bus Terminal, opened in 1996, is a good example for modern Turkish architecture.
