Giardino Mountain couldn't exist anywhere but Champfèr, the Swiss Alpine village a five-minute stroll away from St. Moritz. From the hotel's exclusive mountain lounge, which offers views some 2,128 meters above sea level, to the inspiring sgrafitti by local artist Steivan Könz, now restored in the two-Michelin-starred Ristorante Ecco on Snow, the hotel has been renovated and designed with an innate respect for its mountain setting.

Hands-on hoteliers Daniela and Philippe Frutiger have created a luxurious escape that feels contemporary yet deeply rooted in the Engadine architectural tradition. Local stone has been used throughout the hotel, which was restored and remodeled to provide soul-nourishing spaces, including a tranquil, state-of-the-art wellness spa, where therapists use blossom-scented organic products from Dipiù, Daniela's signature beauty line. Earthy tones give the 78 rooms and suites a feeling of warmth and coziness. In the restaurants, one of which is run by Rolf Fliegauf (the youngest chef in Europe with two Michelin stars), regional products are combined with flair and imagination. The hotel's ethos is to offer a relaxed atmosphere with attentive service, and thanks to the point-to-point connections offered by Giardino Group's private airline, this often begins before check-in. With ninety employees on hand to take care of guests, and the Mountain Kids' Club and the Freestyle Academy keeping tots and teens busy throughout the day, magic moments among the mountains are guaranteed.

LOCATION OF GIARDINO MOUNTAIN

Giardino Mountain is located in Champfèr, only 1.5km away from St. Moritz. Champfèr is a village in the Upper Engadin valley of the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. The Western part of the village belongs to the municipality of Silvaplana and part of the village belongs to the municipality of St. Moritz. The two halves of the town are separated by the creek Ova da Suvretta.
