The lives of Daniela and Philippe Frutiger have been connected to the Giardino Hotel Group ever since they met at its first property in Ascona in 1994. Together they repositioned and expanded the Swiss hotel brand into a successful business encompassing three hotels, the private airline Fly Giardino and a beauty and cosmetics line, Dipėų. Philippe, the firm's CEO, trained as a cook before learning the ropes of hotelery in his native Switzerland and abroad. His wife Daniela, originally from southern Germany, is a trained beautician and pharmacist and the group's project manager, presiding over interior design and spa operations. The Frutigers' key values - quality of life, sustainability and service leadership - are exhibited throughout their properties in a fresh interpretation of luxury for the modern traveler.
