With its classic art deco architecture, illuminated at night in retro neon lights, Ocean Drive Hotel exemplifies modern design. The lobby and bar have been outfitted in new Mies van der Rohe and La Corbusier furniture, integrating clean lines and mellow tones to invoke a breezy, simple elegance. Natural light floods the hotel’s shared spaces, while marble harlequin floors and tribal accents create a uniquely eclectic ambiance that emphasises both geometric shapes and organic forms.

First opened in 1999, Ocean Drive’s current owner Marc Rahola purchased the hotel and immediately began major renovations, which were completed in 2010. Each of the hotel’s 40 rooms, including 4 suites, were refurbished in plush fabrics . Archimedes lamps, Pepe Penalver's designer textiles and cozy furnishings by Samy Masso provide touches of Italian luxury to the otherwise pared-down interiors.

Sandy beige and caramel, soothing lavender and tranquil blue hues dominate the rooms, while the suites are brightly patterned with contemporary prints, bold color combinations and original artwork. In light of Ibiza’s legendary nightlife, the walls of each room have been soundproofed, offering guests a quiet and exceptionally private sanctuary that’s shielded from the island’s nonstop party scene.

The rooms’ private balconies and rooftop lounge have spectacular views of the yacht harbour, Ibiza’s “Old Town,” a UNESCO World heritage site, as well as the Mediterranean Sea and surrounding mountain vistas.
