Once a family-owned summer residence, Hospes Villa Paulita has been transformed into an idyllic getaway with all the pamperings. Set on Puigcerdà Lake and facing the Catalan Pyrenees, the resort combines nature with nurture in three elegant buildings: An original 19Th century villa complete with French neo-classical elements and two newly built annexes.

The public spaces and thirty-four individually decorated guestrooms, as well as four suites are divided among the buildings. Designer lighting, high tech and luxurious fabrics in silver and cream are equally at home in the historic mansion as are fine details and craftsmanship that reveal the hotel’s heritage. These include wood beamed ceilings, wrought iron balustrades, stained glass window panes, and even selected antiques, inherited from the villa’s original owners. The effect is an artful composition of historic and contemporary design—one which reflects the different centuries in which the buildings were born.

With its serene lakeside setting and manicured gardens, the outdoor environment has been integrated as an additional space for socialising and relaxation. Glass pyramids are spaced throughout the gardens, providing architectural interest, as well as a flood of natural light to the expansive Bodyna Spa, located on the lower level of the resort. In addition to natural treatments and massages, Bodyna Spa surprises with an indoor swimming pool, a fitness centre as well as wet and dry saunas. The indulgence continues at Senzone L’Estany, the resort’s gourmet restaurant, which offers cuisine balanced between sophistication and tradition. An elegant event room is also available for private dinners and a second space can host up to 150 people for larger group retreats.

The Hospes Villa Paulita is located in the heart of Puigcerdà, on the shores of its emblematic lake, amid a forested park.

DIRECTIONS TO HOSPES VILLA PAULITA

From Barcelona: Enter the town by the E-9 National Road, turn left to the Camí
d’Aja and then right at the Avinguda de Catalunya. After around 500 metres, turn
right down Carrer Higini de Rivera and then right again down Carrer Font d’En
Lleres. Turn left almost immediately down Carrer Cassi. Then, turn left again to
reach the Travessera Volart, where the imposing Hospes Villa Paulita is located.

From Madrid: Enter the town by the Pont de Sant Martí, continue along the
Baixada Sant Martí Pont and turn left twice and take the Ronda del Torreó. After
400 metres, turn right down the Carrer Doctor Piguillem and then down the
Travessera Volart.
