In the arts, the (unfinished) church Sagrada Familia, the city houses and the fantastic Park Güell, all by modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, enjoy international fame. Noteworthy are also the Cosmocaixa, a contemporary science museum, the fine collections of works by Míro and Picasso, and the multi-coloured Torre Agbar, designed by Jean Nouvel. The city of Barcelona also won the 1999 RIBA Royal Gold Medal for its unique and often daring architecture.
