It was on Portugal’s Sagres peninsula that in the 15th century, Prince Henry the Navigator planned and organized the journeys of discovery that marked the beginning of Europe’s era of world exploration. Located in Costa Vicentina Natural Park at Europe’s south-western-most point, Sagres boasts both a rich history and a stunning natural beauty.
