Situated on the Grand Canal, the atmosphere of PalazzinaG is that of a home full of charm and vitality, steeped in history, where guests can experience the melancholy grandeur of Venice like true Venetians. With no reception desk at the entrance area, a personalized check in marks the beginning of the tailor-made service guests can expect throughout their stay.

The façade of the three-storey hotel is a classical 16th-century shell, behind which generations of noble and haute-bourgeois families lived; several centuries earlier, the site served as a Roman spa. Classical references abound, including a restored central colonnade and modern columns. This design is echoed throughout the bar and the hotel's lobby and lounge, which provide interlocking public spaces. The 15 rooms and seven suite apartments are characterized by a marriage of contemporary and romantic design, highlighted by unique furnishings, glass works by the French artist Aristide Najean and sophisticated collector’s items, with some rooms offering glimpses of the lagoon landscape.

The PG's Restaurant reflects the philosophy of PalazzinaG: a warm, informal, yet decadent atmosphere, where chef Luigi Frascella interacts with diners from a show-cooking counter. Continuing inside to the sixteenth-century wing of the palazzo, guests can enjoy the Krug Lounge, the second in the world. Overlooking the Grand Canal, it is open only for members and hotel guests. Adorned with unusual furnishings and accessories – such as a set of chairs shaped like animals and unique white silicone chandeliers – it is ideal for an aperitif before dinner or glass of champagne as a nightcap. The PalazzinaG is located in the heart of Venice on the Grand Canal. The hotel is within a short walking distance to all of Venice’s main museums, art galleries and sites including the La Fenice Theatre, Galleria dell Accademia and the Palazzo Grassi which is located a few short steps away.
