Mykonos is a good spot to study the typical Greek island architecture, white houses with colourful wooden doors and shutters. Mykonos landmarks include the Panagia-Paraportani church, a popular photo opportunity that was created by five separate chapels joining forces over the course of time, and the Kato Mili, four windmills standing in a row. The nearby island of Delos has impressive ancient ruins.
