New Hotel, in the heart of modern Athens, is an astonishing work of art. All 79 rooms and suites engage their guests with vivid, off-the-wall installations, while the public areas feature sculptures crafted from reclaimed parts of the old Olympic Palace Hotel, which used to stand on the site. Overseen by Greek Cypriot art collector Dakis Joannou, and with interiors by Brazil's famous Campana brothers, it's a true Gesamtkunstwerk, in which all the senses are in an overall intensified form of visual, tactile and somatic interaction with the objects, structures and materials.
