MEET THE ORIGINAL: KORBINIAN KOHLER

Entrepreneur Korbinian Kohler, born and raised on the shores of Lake Tegernsee, has traveled around the world to many hotels throughout his career. In 2010, he acquired Hotel Bachmair Weissach, where his grandfather was a regular patron, with a long-term goal to establish the hotel as one of the leading destinations in the Alps. The human factor of hospitality is of great importance to him and he takes interest in every guest, welcoming each one personally, “The new Hotel Bachmair Weissach ought to become a hotel that conveys the feeling of a private country club and perfectly blends Bavarian authenticity with an affinity for design,” he says.
