ARCHITECTURE / INTERIOR DESIGN
A few steps from Frankfurt’s main train station, ROOMERS Loft is a 240 square meter extended-stay apartment offering discerning travelers the utmost in taste, privacy and service for a seemingly endless variety of uses. The interiors here offer high comfort and a refined aesthetic that stand on their own.
Clean and serene lines dominate, with lighting, furnishings, and materials chosen by Rosen and Urseanu to match their own tastes – which, as always, combine clarity of design with a distinctly sensual feel and a certain decadence. In the front portion of the loft, an open kitchen overlooks a generous, open-plan living space. Flooded with light, it sweeps from a long dining table to a vast Minotti seating arrangement and a well-stocked sideboard bar. Tones here and throughout are predominantly muted and natural – think anthracite, ochre, exposed brick and hardwood flooring. But that doesn’t exclude the occasional splash of color, like the living room’s floor rug in a deep bordeaux.
As the long hallway leads into the apartment’s depths, different areas unfold. Outfitted with a sauna, separate rain shower and oversize bathtub/Jacuzzi, the master bathroom is a 30 square meter ode to feeling good: a personal spa, so to speak, framed in dark-gray walls and flooring of poured Pandomo concrete from Italy. The master bedroom offers silent respite and space to play with and in, featuring two walk-in closets for longer stays … or more extensive wardrobes. There’s a generous guest bedroom and a second bathroom. Two balconies let guests step outside. A Bose sound system completes the apartment, which also features a flat-screen television in every single room. Whatever the use, ROOMERS Loft is the perfectly equipped stage.
