Escape to another era, at Hotel Lamée, where a harmonious mix of old and new harks back to the glamour of 1930s Hollywood, while maintaining a distinct Viennese charm. Located in Vienna’s historic 1st district – surrounded by museums, galleries, luxury shopping and famous coffee houses – the original 1930s building offers a modern interpretation of a little grand hotel. Renovated with a strong focus on sustainability, the hotel follows a resource saving philosophy.

The interiors reflect the dramatic with a slim exterior and warm lighting bouncing off the reddish-brown natural stone that covers every surface of the entrance; here, guests are presented with a lively mix of exclusivity and vivacity. The style concept draws inspiration from the glamor of old time Hollywood – the interiors are opulent and lavish, like that of a starlet’s dressing room. In the 32 rooms and suites, guests are encouraged to lose themselves in bygone times. High-gloss wood, splashes of sassy red, brass detailing and oversized tassels recreate the private recesses of a graceful movie star, offering a flirty and elegant level of comfort. The suites, partially equipped with terraces, can even be used for photo shootings or small events.

Another highlight of the hotel is its innovative food and beverage concept. At Bloom, the hotel’s two-storey café, bar and bistro, guests can meet the locals while enjoying an Austrian interpretation of innovative delicacies. The specialties are prepared using organic products and served alongside owner Martin Lenikus’ own brand of eco-friendly wines. Located on a busy corner the large glass doors open onto the street, inviting the lively buzz into the richly decorated space.

From the breezy rooftop garden, views of the old town and the spires of St. Stephen’s cathedral will bring guests back to the Vienna of here and now, before being whisked away again inside.

LOCATION OF HOTEL LAMÉE

Hotel Lamée is located in the city center of Vienna known as Vienna's 1st district. The Cathedral of St. Stephen and the famous shopping streets of Kärntner Straße, Graben and Kohlmarkt are located around the corner from the hotel. The most famous tourist sights, such as “Anker Uhr”, “Albertina”, “Hofburg”, “Spanische Hofreitschule”, are within walking distance of the hotel as well as many bars and restaurants.

The hotel is approximately 23 km away from Vienna International Airport.
