Morne Rouge is considered one of the island’s finest beaches and has clear, calm waters that give the place a slightly Mediterranean touch. There are also a couple of reefs nearby. St. George has some historical buildings such as the Ford George and a Roman-Catholic Cathedral dating back to 1818. The capital is also home to the Grenada National Museum.
