Morne Rouge is located near St. George, the capital of the island of Grenada, also known as “The Spice Isle”.

Its considered one of the island’s finest beaches and has clear, calm waters that give the place a slightly Mediterranean touch. There are also a couple of reefs nearby. St. George has some historical buildings such as the Ford George and a Roman-Catholic Cathedral dating back to 1818. The capital is also home to the Grenada National Museum.
