Alila Villas Hadahaa resort will open its doors on 1st April 2009.
The Alila Villas Hadahaa resort, set on the tropical island of Hadahaa in the North Huvadhoo Atoll, is believed to be one of the largest and deepest natural Atolls in the world. Surrounded by a vast expanse of sea, this all-villa resort offers the ultimate Maldivian experience, with turquoise-azure waters and fine white beaches complementing the tranquil setting. Guests at the resort can choose from one of 14 stilted, over-water Aqua Villas or 36 Island Villas, 20 of which come with private pool. All living spaces feature vast sliding windows that afford stunning ocean views and fluidly unite guests with the tropical environment around them. In addition, each room comes with a spacious, open-air wood deck, an LCD flat panel TV with Video-On-Demand, Wi-Fi internet access, a CD/DVD player, an iPod docking station, a tea/espresso machine and a mini-bar stocked according to personal taste.
The private tranquillity of these guest villas is matched only by the peaceful isolation of the five Spa Villas, where guests can take steam showers, enjoy an extensive range of rejuvenation treatments or unwind in outdoor gazebos, tubs and rain showers. A tropical garden, fresh-water pool and floating yoga pavilion round out the spa’s relaxation offerings. Guests can be sure to experience the ultimate in on-resort activities through consultations with the Alila Villas Hadahaa Leisure Conciege, on hand to help plan excursions or organise events. In-resort facilities include island-wide Wi-Fi access, a library with star-gazing roof, the Alila Living Boutique, two swimming pools, a fully-equipped gym, Poolside & Cigar bars and a Maldivian speciality restaurant offering a sampling of local and regional cuisine. Environmental impact studies were used to guide the resort design, ensuring the ecological footprint left by this luxurious complex is kept to a minimum. Adhering to set standards during the design and construction stage through to resort operations, the Alila Villas Hadahaa is the first resort in the Maldives to receive Green Globe certification. |
