The Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang is an intimate, exotic retreat located in an ancient town that was once the royal capital of Laos. Renowned for its torrent yet enthralling political history, as well as its natural beauty, Luang Prabang is a UNESCO World Heritage site dotted with ornate Buddhist temples, art galleries and traditional craft boutiques, nestled between the Mekong and Nam Khan Rivers. Architect Duangrit Bunnag incorporated the hotel site’s pre-existing colonial buildings with new additions that recall traditional Laotian architecture. The hotel’s 23 suites all feature unique interiors that blend Asian accents with contemporary design, and are each accompanied by a secluded garden, some with private pool.

During their stay at Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang, guests can bear witness to the daily procession of monks collecting alms, experience the art of preparing traditional Laotian cuisine at the hotel’s cooking school, or simply pamper themselves with holistic spa treatments using natural, local ingredients. The hotel’s courtyards are a tropical haven of pools, landscaped gardens and a sandpit fireplace. Traditional Laotian dishes made with organic ingredients are served in the restaurant, while the hotel’s library and spa offer nourishment for mind and body.

A luxurious oasis situated in a scenic river valley that was once the royal capital of Laos, the Hotel de la Paix Luang Prabang offers a spectrum of authentic cultural experiences, spiritual stimulation and holistic renewal within a historically vibrant and architecturally elegant retreat.
