MORE
The city has numerous beautiful historic landmarks, among them the Shinto shrine Fushimi Inari Taisha and the Kyoto Palace. Kyoto is also famous as a centre for the Japanese tea ceremony, and as the birthplace of the classic Japanese theatre forms No, Kyogen and Kabuki. Although Kyoto breathes history more than anything else, it has an impressive and very futuristic main station well worth a visit.
