CONFERENCE CENTRE

The Hotel Healdsburg Conference Center will include locally renowned Relish Culinary School, the Wade Hoefer Studio, an expanded Hand Fan Museum, Hotel Healdsburg’s new Executive Boardroom and a new Fitness Center.

After more than two years of offering "roving" cooking classes at various wine country locations, Relish Culinary School is expanding its operation with a location at the Conference Center. The showplace kitchen is specially designed for hands-on and demonstration cooking classes, team-building workshops, food and wine pairings, artisan food tastings, and other culinary events. Relish will continue to work with talented local chefs, restaurant owners and artisan food purveyors, and will offer specialty events hosted/created/defined by Charlie Palmer. Hotel Healdsburg and Relish Culinary School will also offer joint packages which will include multi-day culinary tours and classes.

Acclaimed Sonoma County painter Wade Hoefer – whose artwork is a focal point of Hotel Healdsburg’s lobby -- will open the Wade Hoefer Studio. The studio will serve as a workspace for Hoefer, a painter and sculptor who draws his inspiration from the natural beauty of the Sonoma landscape, and will be open to the public on a limited, appointment-only basis.

The new Hand Fan Museum will enjoy a much larger space than its current home adjacent to the Hotel Healdsburg, allowing for a more comprehensive display of hand fans from around the world. The expanded museum will also feature an extraordinary fan staircase, a hand fan reference library, and a mercantile area where new and vintage fans will be available for purchase. The museum will also access a beautiful meeting room for special gatherings, workshops, lectures and receptions.

The Executive Boardroom is an ideal complement to the Hotel’s existing three meeting spaces. Special features will include a permanent walnut conference table that can accommodate 22 people and state-of-the-art meeting facilities that include a drop-down screen, video projector, WiFi technology and teleconferencing capability. The Boardroom will also feature a gracious lobby and garden area available for breakout meetings and working lunches.

The new 925-square-foot Fitness Center will offer the latest in cardio, weight training and stretching equipment as well as personal audio/video systems and personal trainers upon request.
